What is an Amie St Clair Melanoma Nurse?
The Amie St Clair Melanoma Nurse provides free support and assistance to you, your family/friends in the management of your diagnosis of melanoma.
Who is the Amie St Clair Melanoma Nurse?
Danielle Goss is a Registered Nurse who has had extensive experience in the field of Oncology and Haematology. She first worked in the field of Melanoma Nursing at Royal Prince Alfred Hospital Sydney in 1995.
How long does the support last?
There is no set time; our Melanoma Nurse will work with you for as long as needed. Sometimes this may be only a few weeks but can be longer.
What will happen as part of the support?
Our Melanoma Nurse will meet with you to help you understand your diagnosis. She is available to attend appointments with you and the Oncology team and/or your G.P. Our Nurse is also available for home visits.
What other assistance can the Nurse provide?
Our Melanoma Nurse can:
• Attend your health appointments with you.
• Provide information and education regarding your diagnosis.
• Connect you to other health and social services in the community.
• Provide referral to other health care services.
